2021 AUDITIONS

Due to the Pandemic, we have invited the 2020 performers back for another season, although, there may be positions open for serious applicants.

There is an immediate need for a talented and serious pianist.

The band has started rehearsing virtually.

Applicants must submit:

The selected performer will attend virtual rehearsals ASAP.  Live Rehearsal Camp begins June 18, 2021 with the first opening performance on July 4th, 2021 in Wauwatosa.  The Kids From Wisconsin performance tour will go until August 15th, 2021.

Instrumentalists

INSTRUMENTAL:

Submit all application items according to the application.  Then submit your video as described below.​

  • INTRODUCTION:

    • Name

    • Hometown

    • Age

    • Current School

    • Short description of yourself as a performer

  • Instrumental

    • Have 2 contrasting pieces prepared.

    • Introduce your song choices  

    • If you are a woodwind, also perform on Alto, Tenor, Clarinet and Flute if possible. These can be shorter than your main instrument.

    • If you are a horn player, please demonstrate you range from bottom to top.

  • Instrumental video upload

  • Please title your video starting with your last name and then instrument​.

Singer/Dancers

VOCAL AND DANCE:

Submit all application items according to the application.  Then submit your video as described below.

The video submission should include:

  • INTRODUCTION:

    • Name

    • Hometown

    • Age

    • Current School

    • Short description of yourself as a performer

  • VOCAL:

    • Introduce the song 

    • Sing along with an accompanist/track (no a-Capella). This portion should be 1-2 minutes, showing your best strengths in vocal performing. 

  • DANCE: 

    • "(REQUIRED) Free Style" dance (showing us your best natural performance in movement)

    • Play your favorite dance music

    • Enter from either SL or SR for one 8- count

    • Dance/Perform (no tricks or fancy turns) four 8-counts 

    • Exit stage either SL or SR for one 8-count

  • (OPTIONAL) Demonstrate Dance Styles and Technical training

    • Short demonstration and/or combination of your strongest dance style (Ballet/Jazz or Tap)

    • If Jazz or Ballet, combo should include turns, leaps, and extensions,  if possible

  • Vocal AND Dance video upload

    • Please title your video starting with your last name and vocal part (Soprano, Alto, Tenor Baritone)
