About the Event
Whether you’re submitting a virtual audition or traveling to a live one, chances are, you have a few questions. What song should you pick? What should you wear? How do you select an appropriate audition cut? And most importantly - how do you show the judges who YOU are? The goal of this class is to make you feel as prepared and confident as possible during your important vocal auditions.
In this live Zoom class with Kerry Bieneman, we’ll discuss a range of good audition practices including how to best prepare music for an accompanist, what should be in your repertoire book, and ideas for choosing the best songs for YOU. These skills will help you with your current virtual auditions, and your future “LIVE IN LIVING COLOR” ones!
Kerry brings a unique set of professional skills to this class. Coming from both sides of the audition table, she brings her own perspective to auditions. She is a sought-after pianist & music director throughout southeastern Wisconsin, an experienced singer/actress and the Vocal Director of the Kids From Wisconsin!
Class participants will be encouraged to ask questions, share, and discuss topics with answers benefiting everyone. All ages are welcome (12 and under with an accompanied parent) . Let us help you "Nail Your Next Vocal Audition"!
